Thank you for considering a future with BGA as a Protector. Please see below what we require from you before we can successfully partner you:
Step One: Complete Protector Profile
Please complete the attached protector profile and submit it to BGA.
Step Two: BGA Approval
Once you have completed the above profile BGA will review and validate all information supplied (references). If after this you are approved by BGA you will then need to complete the following additional steps.
Step Three: Additional Requirements
We will require the following additional documentation from you;
* A more comprehensive personal profile
* Copies of your passport, alternate ID document, CV, close protection certification (if any) and license to operate as a protector
* A portrait photograph according to the specifications that will be sent to you
Step Four: Protector Assessments
All BGA protectors will need to undergo an assessment prior to being placed on the database. This assessment evaluates a protectors overall understanding, ability and legal compliance when operating in the protection arena. The assessment is carried out over a two day period and evaluates all protectors using an international measurement tool.
Step Five: Placement on Database
BGA reserves the right to place a protector on their database or alternately to remove any protector from the database. Protectors who come highly recommended by existing BGA member may be provisionally placed on the database prior to completing their assessment. Kindly liaise with BGA H.O to confirm a date for your assessment.
